You're ready to move on when
- Consistently exceeding regional OpEx and CapEx targets.
- Successfully delivering complex, multi-site projects.
- Demonstrable ability to mentor and develop site-level Facilities Managers.
- Proactively identifying and implementing strategic cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong relationships with senior business unit leaders.

From Head of Operations/Property for a smaller organisation
5-8 years in a similar senior role in a smaller companySkills to master
- Scaling your strategic thinking and operational oversight to a larger, more complex portfolio. Adapting to a more matrixed organisational structure and navigating internal politics at a larger scale. Managing more significant budgets and larger teams.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully managed an entire property portfolio (or significant part) for a smaller firm.
- Proven ability to set and execute facilities strategy end-to-end.
- Experience presenting to executive leadership or board level.
- Demonstrable success in major vendor negotiations and contract management.

From Senior Consultant (Real Estate/FM Advisory)
8-10 years in a senior consulting role focusing on FM strategy or real estate portfolio optimisationSkills to master
- Transitioning from advising to directly owning and executing strategy. Building and leading an in-house team. Navigating internal organisational dynamics and securing buy-in from diverse internal stakeholders. Getting hands-on with operational delivery.

- Strong understanding of operational challenges and best practices in FM.
