How it works · Qualifications & Standards

You already do the work. Now get the credit for it.

Zavmo turns the things you do every day into evidence, mapped to the exact standards employers and awarding bodies use, that builds towards a real qualification. No essays about situations you’ll never face.

Real, regulated standards Your work is the evidence A record you own

You already do the work. Zavmo maps it to real standards and makes it official.

You’ve been building evidence for years. Zavmo just starts counting it.

Most qualifications make you prove yourself all over again, on their terms, in their time. Zavmo works the other way: it takes the skill already in your day job, maps it to formal standards, and helps you turn it into something on paper, made official through the awarding bodies that do the accrediting.

Evidence as it stacks up: each module with the lessons completed, the level of thinking it reaches, and the credits it carries.

Built around what the job really needs

Not Zavmo’s invented checklist. The same standards employers and awarding bodies use to decide someone can actually do the job. (The formal names, if you want them: Ofqual units and National Occupational Standards.)

Your real work is the evidence

The report you write, the ticket you close, the grievance you handle: that becomes the proof. You’re assessed on real practice, not hypotheticals you’ll never meet.

It builds towards a qualification

Evidence stacks up over time towards a real qualification, awarded through our regulated awarding-body partners. Zavmo does the mapping; they make it official.

A record you own

Everything you do is captured as a standards-compliant learning record that’s yours to keep and show. A trail of exactly what you can do, in your name.

Levelled honestly

You’re placed at the level you’re genuinely at, and stretched from there. No flattery, no box-ticking. A picture you and an employer can both trust.

Nothing lost in translation

Learn in your own language and the regulated bits, unit codes and awarding-body names, stay exact, so what you earn means the same everywhere.

Straight with you: Zavmo isn’t the awarding body. It does the teaching and the mapping, and builds the evidence towards a qualification. The accreditation itself is granted by our regulated awarding-body partners. So what you earn holds up outside Zavmo, too.

People who’d been doing the work all along

Eleven years I’ve kept this place running and I’d sort of given up expecting anyone to notice. Zavmo took all the bits I just get on with and counted them towards a proper qualification. I’ve never had anything on paper that matched what I actually do.

Loads of my week is writing policies and handling grievances. Turns out all of it counted as evidence for the qualification, which I wasn’t expecting. Nice to feel the slog was going somewhere for once.

I don’t have time for homework, I’ve got a job. That’s what won me over. The tickets I’m already sorting count as the work. Same graft I’m doing anyway, it’s just going somewhere now.
