How this site handles your data

What we collect, and why

• Saved paths (your email). If you use "save my path", we store your email with the path you chose, and we use it only to keep that path and to send you occasional reminders about it. We are not sending those reminders yet. When we start, every one will carry an unsubscribe link that we honour immediately, and we will ask you to confirm your address before we send you anything.
• Anonymous step counts. We count which pages and steps visitors reach, so we can see where the site works and where people get stuck. We do this without asking first, because the law allows it for statistics that improve a service, as long as you can object. Each count holds the step, whether you came from a search engine, another site or one of our campaign links, and a random number that is deleted when you close the tab. Each day we add the counts into totals and delete the rest. The totals cannot identify you, and nobody outside Zavmo sees them. To stop it, choose “turn off” in the privacy banner or “Cookie choices” in the footer. Turning it off here or on learn.zavmo.ai stops it on both. A browser Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal stops it too.
• Usage events. If you allow analytics, we record events (page views, tool use) against a random identifier stored in your browser, so we can see which pages help. Those events include the address of the page that sent you to us.
• If you give us your email, we link it to those events. Until you do, the identifier is not connected to your name or your address. When you submit a form, we join the two, so we can see which pages led somewhere useful. If that is not what you want, do not allow analytics, or ask us to delete what we hold.
• No tracking cookies. This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If you allow analytics, it sets one cookie of our own, zv_aid, which learn.zavmo.ai can also read, so our learning app can tell it is the same browser. The app reads it only if you say yes there too. It lasts 90 days, and we delete it if you change your answer.

If we emailed you first

We also contact people at work who have never been to this site, using business contact details we get from data providers and public professional sources. That is a different situation with different rights, and it has its own notice. If we emailed you out of the blue, write to hello@zavmo.ai and we will send it to you, tell you where we got your details, and stop if you want us to stop.

Cookies and your choices

Apart from the anonymous step counts above, nothing non-essential is stored on your device or sent until you say yes. When you first arrive, a banner lets you Accept, Reject non-essential, or Manage preferences by category. Every category starts switched off.

• Strictly necessary. Serving the page and letting the companion answer a question you asked. Always on; never used to track you.
• Anonymous counts. The step counts described above. On unless you turn it off.
• Analytics. First-party events (page views, tool use) against a random identifier in your browser. It remembers this browser between visits, and links it to your email if you give us one. Off until you allow it.
• Marketing. Advertising and retargeting. We set none of this today; the category is reserved and stays off unless you turn it on.

We honour a browser Global Privacy Control or Do-Not-Track signal as a reject, and as an objection to the anonymous counts. If you said no before, your answer stands and we do not ask again. If you said yes before 28 September 2026, we ask once more, because a yes now also links this browser to learn.zavmo.ai and to any email you give us. Until you answer, we keep recording events against your identifier as before, but we link it to nothing. Any advertising or analytics tags we add later are gated behind this choice by default. Change your mind any time with “Cookie choices” in the footer.

Payments

When purchases go live, checkout happens on Stripe's hosted pages. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us; we receive confirmation that a payment succeeded so we can give you access to what you bought.

The learning product

The Zavmo companion at learn.zavmo.ai is a separate, signed-in product with its own privacy notice covering your learning data.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any saved-path email: one click, immediate.
• Ask us what we hold about your email, or ask us to delete it: hello@zavmo.ai. We respond within 30 days.
• Clear your browser's site data to reset the anonymous identifier.
• Turn off the anonymous step counts at any time, with “turn off” in the banner or “Cookie choices” in the footer.

How long we keep it

We keep your email for as long as your saved path is useful to you, and we delete it when you ask us to or when you unsubscribe. Usage events are kept so we can see how the site performs over time. If you want a firm date for either, ask us and we will tell you what we hold and when it goes.
