  1. Discover

    Work out where you actually are

    Zavmo starts by comparing what you can already do against the skills the role needs, drawn from the UK’s national standards. You find out exactly what’s missing, so you don’t spend time on things you’ve already got. You can also say what helps you learn, such as shorter sessions or replies read aloud. None of it needs a diagnosis.

    The chooser, addressed by name: map the role you are in, aim at the one you want, study for a qualification, or take a single skill.

  2. Discuss

    Agree the route

    You (and your manager, if you have one) look at the gaps together and settle on a path. The route points toward qualifications in the UK’s national frameworks, so the evidence you build here counts beyond this one job.

  3. Deliver

    Learn by talking, not reading slides

    You learn through conversation with your companion and its characters, who adjust to your pace and the way you think. Everything is tied to your real job and sector, and it keeps moving you up, from remembering and understanding toward analysing, evaluating and creating.

  4. Demonstrate

    End with proof, not a completion tick

    As you go, your work becomes evidence. Tasks, reflections and real examples are captured and mapped for you as you learn. You finish with a record of what you can genuinely do, written against the assessment criteria. It follows you, rather than sitting in a drawer.

    The record as it builds: every module with the lessons completed, the level of thinking it reaches, and the credits it carries.

Why four steps and not one course

Most training assumes everyone starts in the same place and learns the same way. The 4D process doesn’t. It works out your starting point first, agrees a route that’s worth walking, teaches you in the way that fits you, and then proves what you can do at the end. The order matters: you never learn what you already know, and you never finish without evidence.
