Why now
It stopped being a report and became a requirement.
The question moved out of the annual report and into the everyday one: what you buy, what you throw away, how you run the thing. And it now arrives with a request for proof.
Zavmo read 58,802 job descriptions. Sustainability Fluency came back at roughly 1 in 12, a good deal bigger than we'd assumed, and it appears in trades as much as in boardrooms. That's our own reading of those jobs, nobody else's number. The market appears to be converging on this. We're still checking it against live hiring data, and we'll always tell you which it is.
Get fluent, and you're the one who can make a decision that's both good business and genuinely defensible. Leave it, and you'll be handed rules you had no part in writing. That's a choice about who holds the pen.
