- Consistently excellent performance in a previous security role, with positive feedback from supervisors.
- Demonstrated ability to handle minor incidents calmly and effectively.
- Strong understanding of basic physical security principles and procedures.
- A proactive attitude towards learning and taking on more responsibility.

- Understanding building operations, basic health & safety, administrative tasks, vendor coordination, customer service within a facilities context.
You're ready to move on when
- Good knowledge of the building layout and operational procedures.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a helpful, service-oriented approach.
- A keen interest in the security aspects of facilities management.

Customer Service / Front Desk Role

- High-volume public interaction, problem-solving, de-escalation, record-keeping, handling sensitive information, strong communication.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage difficult conversations.
- Experience with access control or visitor management systems.
- A calm and professional demeanour under pressure.
- A desire to move into a role with more direct responsibility for safety and security.
