You're ready to move on when
- Consistent achievement of business unit quality KPIs and significant COPQ reduction.
- Proven ability to lead successful external audits with zero major findings.
- Strong track record of developing and mentoring senior quality leaders.
- Demonstrable influence on business unit strategy and cross-functional collaboration.
- Successful navigation of complex regulatory challenges at a business unit level.

VP of Regulatory Affairs or Head of Compliance (from another industry)
7-12 years in a comparable executive roleSkills to master
- Deep understanding of enterprise-level regulatory strategy, managing complex stakeholder relationships with regulatory bodies, and overseeing large-scale compliance programmes. You'll need to quickly adapt your regulatory expertise to our specific industry and demonstrate a strong grasp of quality management principles.

10-15 years in a senior operational or technical leadership roleSkills to master
- While not a direct quality path, candidates from Operations or Engineering who have consistently championed quality, implemented robust QMS principles, and managed significant quality initiatives can transition. You'll need to demonstrate a deep understanding of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and the ability to lead a dedicated quality function.

- Proven success in driving quality improvements within operational or engineering functions.
- Demonstrable experience implementing and optimising QMS principles in a production environment.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing large, diverse teams.
