You're ready to move on when
- Consistently exceeding meeting/pipeline generation targets for at least 12 months.
- Demonstrating strong product knowledge and ability to articulate value.
- Proactively seeking coaching and showing a clear understanding of the AE role.
- Taking initiative to research accounts and build targeted outreach strategies.

Junior Account Executive / Associate Account Executive
12-24 monthsSkills to master
- Managing smaller, transactional sales cycles, running product demos, basic negotiation, pipeline management, closing smaller deals, client relationship building.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently hitting or exceeding quota for smaller deals.
- Demonstrating independent management of the full sales cycle.
- Strong ability to handle objections and close deals effectively.
- Proactively identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts.

Account Manager (with new business focus)
2-4 yearsSkills to master
- Client relationship management, identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities, understanding client retention drivers, some new business prospecting, contract renewals.
You're ready to move on when
- Proven ability to grow existing accounts and maintain high client satisfaction.
- Demonstrating strong commercial acumen and identifying new revenue streams.
- Experience with negotiation and contract management.
- A clear desire and proven capability to hunt for new logos, not just farm existing ones.
