- You're proactively identifying areas where processes could be improved, even if you're not leading the change yet.

4-6 yearsSkills to master
- Experience in a specific spend category, running RFQs, basic contract negotiation, and managing a small supplier base.
You're ready to move on when
- You've managed a category of spend (even a small one) and delivered tangible savings.
- You're comfortable leading basic sourcing projects from start to finish.
- You can articulate market trends and supplier dynamics within your previous categories.
- You've worked with cross-functional teams to implement new contracts or suppliers.

Finance Analyst (with procurement exposure)

- Strong financial analysis skills, understanding of budgeting and cost control, and exposure to P2P processes or vendor management.

- You're adept at cost analysis and identifying savings opportunities from a financial perspective.
- You've worked closely with procurement teams on budget reconciliation or spend reporting.
- You understand the financial impact of procurement decisions and can articulate it clearly.
- You're keen to move into a role where you can directly influence spending decisions.
