2-3 years at L3Skills to master
- Deep expertise in managing complex, high-visibility programmes, leading operational improvements, and mentoring junior team members. You'd have a solid grasp of our L&D tech stack and vendor relationships.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully led 2-3 significant L&D operational projects end-to-end without heavy supervision.
- Consistently identified and implemented process improvements that saved time or reduced errors for the L&D team.
- Received strong feedback on your ability to mentor and guide junior colleagues.
- Demonstrated proactive vendor management, anticipating issues and driving solutions.

L&D Systems Administrator / Manager (from another organisation)
Direct entry, assuming relevant experienceSkills to master
- Strong technical background in LMS/LXP administration, system integrations, and data management. Experience leading a small team or significant projects in a previous role.
You're ready to move on when
- Managed a complex learning technology ecosystem for a similar-sized organisation.
- Proven track record of successful system migrations or major platform upgrades.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team or significant workstreams, including managing budgets and resources.
- Excellent understanding of L&D data analytics and reporting best practices.

IT Business Analyst (with L&D focus)
3-5 years as a BA, with specific L&D project experienceSkills to master
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications, process mapping, and stakeholder management. You'd need to gain a deeper understanding of L&D-specific frameworks and content types.
You're ready to move on when
- Led several successful IT projects within an HR or L&D context.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in system integration.
- Developed a keen interest and foundational knowledge in learning technologies and adult learning principles.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder groups and drive consensus.
