From Creditor Rights Specialist (L2)
2-3 years at L2Skills to master
- Mastering complex bankruptcy procedures (especially Chapter 11/13), taking ownership of contested cases, developing strong negotiation skills, and starting to mentor junior colleagues.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently handles a full caseload of routine matters with minimal supervision.
- Proactively identifies and proposes solutions for non-routine issues.
- Receives positive feedback from attorneys on the quality of legal drafting and research.
- Demonstrates a willingness and ability to guide newer team members.

Experienced Paralegal (Civil Litigation/Insolvency)
5-7 years experienceSkills to master
- Deepening knowledge of creditor-specific regulations (FDCPA, UCC Article 9), understanding the commercial aspects of debt recovery, and adapting to our firm's specific case management systems and client base.
You're ready to move on when
- Extensive experience drafting complex pleadings and motions in civil litigation or insolvency.
- Proven ability to manage discovery processes and prepare cases for hearings.
- Strong analytical skills and a track record of independent legal research.
- A clear interest in specialising in creditor rights and debt recovery.

Junior Solicitor (1-2 PQE in Commercial Litigation)

- Familiarising yourself with the day-to-day operational aspects of creditor rights, our specific client portfolios, and the nuances of non-attorney roles in legal recovery. It's a shift from broad legal advice to focused execution.
You're ready to move on when
- Strong foundational legal knowledge, particularly in contract law and civil procedure.
- A desire to specialise and gain hands-on experience in a high-volume, process-driven legal area.
- Adaptability to working within defined legal frameworks and procedures, often without direct court appearances.
- An interest in the commercial and financial aspects of debt recovery.
