- Mastering end-to-end project delivery for small to medium projects, managing single budgets up to £1M, developing strong vendor relationships, and consistently hitting deadlines.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently delivering projects on time and budget with minimal supervision.
- Proactively identifying and resolving project issues without needing constant escalation.
- Receiving positive feedback from internal stakeholders on project communication and outcomes.
- Demonstrating an eagerness to take on more complex or higher-value projects.

Construction Project Manager (external firm)
3-5 yearsSkills to master
- Deep expertise in construction methodologies, site management, contract administration (JCT/NEC), and managing large contractor teams. You'll have seen a lot of different projects and learned how to wrangle them.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully managed multiple construction projects from ground-up or major refurbishment.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations and health & safety standards.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets and schedules under pressure.
- A desire to move from client-side delivery to corporate real estate, focusing on end-user experience.

Quantity Surveyor (Intermediate)
4-6 yearsSkills to master
- Expertise in cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and financial management of construction projects. You'll be a wizard with numbers and contracts.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently accurate cost estimations and budget management on complex projects.
- Strong negotiation skills with contractors and suppliers.
- A desire to broaden your role beyond pure cost management to full project delivery.
- Experience in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
