You're ready to move on when
- Successfully led multiple complex CAPA investigations from start to finish.
- Consistently mentored 1-2 junior team members with positive feedback.
- Demonstrated ability to manage internal audits with minimal non-conformances.
- Proactively identified and proposed solutions for systemic CQHS issues, not just individual incidents.

From CQHS Lead in another Industry
Direct entry, assuming relevant industry experienceSkills to master
- Adapting to our specific operational context, culture, and regulatory landscape. Building credibility with our internal stakeholders quickly. Understanding our specific EHS and QMS platforms.
You're ready to move on when
- Proven track record of designing and implementing CQHS programmes in a similar-sized, complex operational environment.
- Strong leadership experience with direct reports.
- Demonstrated ability to manage external audits and regulatory interactions.
- Quickly grasps new operational processes and identifies associated risks.

From Senior Engineer or Operations Manager with CQHS Focus
3-5 years in a senior operational role with significant CQHS responsibilitySkills to master
- Formalising CQHS methodologies (e.g., ISO standards, advanced RCA techniques). Developing a broader understanding of compliance across quality, health, safety, and environment. Learning to lead a dedicated CQHS team.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully led significant safety improvement initiatives within their operational role.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of risk management and regulatory requirements from an operational perspective.
- Proven ability to influence and drive change among operational teams.
- Has a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, or is actively working towards it.
