From Warehouse Operations Manager (Large/Complex Site)
3-5 years as an Operations ManagerSkills to master
- Full P&L ownership for a single site, successful management of a large team of supervisors, demonstrable experience with WMS implementation or significant automation projects, strong stakeholder management with sales/finance.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently exceeding site-level KPIs (cost per unit, OTIF, inventory accuracy).
- Successfully led at least one major site-level capital project from business case to completion.
- Developed and promoted at least 2-3 supervisors into higher roles.
- Proactively identified and implemented significant process improvements that delivered measurable savings.

From Regional Logistics Manager (Non-Warehousing Focus)
4-6 years in a regional logistics roleSkills to master
- Broad understanding of the entire supply chain (transport, planning, warehousing), experience managing external 3PL relationships, strong analytical skills for network optimisation, exposure to multi-site operations.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully managed a regional logistics budget of £1M+.
- Demonstrated ability to optimise transportation routes or carrier networks.
- Has a solid grasp of warehouse operations, even if not directly managing them day-to-day.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.

From Senior Consultant (Supply Chain/Logistics)
5-8 years in consulting, with focus on operationsSkills to master
- Deep expertise in supply chain strategy, network design, process re-engineering, and technology implementation. Strong client management and presentation skills. Ability to quickly understand complex operational environments.
You're ready to move on when
- Led multiple large-scale supply chain transformation projects for clients.
- Successfully managed project teams and delivered measurable results.
- Can articulate a clear vision for operational excellence and how to achieve it.
- Has experience with P&L responsibility for projects or client engagements.
