From Production Supervisor / Team Lead (with strong quality focus)
3-5 years in a production leadership roleSkills to master
- You'd need a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of driving quality improvements on the shop floor. You'd also need to pick up the more formal quality methodologies and statistical tools.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently met production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Successfully implemented process improvements to reduce defects or waste in your area.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills with your team.
- A clear interest and aptitude for statistical analysis and formal quality systems.
