Senior Quality Engineer (Internal Promotion)
3-5 years as a Senior QESkills to master
- Leading complex quality projects independently, mentoring junior engineers, developing strong stakeholder relationships, and demonstrating a deep understanding of our QMS. You'd have proven you can drive results without direct authority.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully led 3+ significant quality improvement projects (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt projects) with documented savings or impact.
- Consistently sought out by junior team members for technical guidance and problem-solving support.
- Proactively identified and proposed solutions to systemic quality issues, rather than just reacting to them.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, including presenting to mid-level management.

Quality Supervisor / Team Lead (External Hire)
Roughly 8-10 years in quality roles, with 2-3 years in a formal or informal leadership capacity.Skills to master
- Experience managing a small team, hands-on experience with QMS administration, and a proven ability to implement quality programmes in a similar industry. We'd be looking for someone who can hit the ground running with team management.
You're ready to move on when
- Experience directly managing 2+ quality professionals, including performance reviews and development.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement quality processes and procedures that improved measurable outcomes.
- Strong technical expertise in at least 3-4 core quality methodologies (e.g., RCA, SPC, FMEA).
- Evidence of effective cross-functional collaboration and influence in previous roles.

Manufacturing/Operations Engineer with Quality Specialisation
8-12 years in manufacturing engineering, with a strong focus on process quality and continuous improvement.Skills to master
- Deep understanding of production processes, strong analytical problem-solving, experience with Lean/Six Sigma in a manufacturing context, and a clear passion for quality. You'd bring a valuable 'shop floor' perspective.
You're ready to move on when
- Led significant process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment, directly impacting quality metrics.
- Strong command of statistical analysis and data-driven decision making.
- Experience working closely with quality teams to resolve production issues and implement controls.
- Demonstrated leadership potential through project management or informal team guidance.
