- Consistently manages programme logistics with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Proactively identifies and solves minor programme issues without constant supervision.
- Shows initiative in suggesting improvements to L&D processes.
- Has taken on small content development tasks or co-facilitated sessions.

HR Generalist / HR Advisor (with L&D focus)
3-4 yearsSkills to master
- Understanding of HR lifecycle, employee relations, basic performance management, identifying training needs from an HR perspective, stakeholder management.
You're ready to move on when
- Regularly identifies and articulates skill gaps within teams they support.
- Has experience delivering small internal training sessions (e.g., new hire induction).
- Demonstrates a keen interest in moving into a dedicated L&D role.
- Understands the link between HR initiatives and learning needs.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Trainer from another function
2-4 yearsSkills to master
- Deep expertise in a specific business area, ability to explain complex topics clearly, understanding of adult learning principles (even if informal), strong presentation skills.
You're ready to move on when
- Has consistently trained colleagues or new hires in their previous role.
- Can clearly articulate how they would translate their expertise into structured learning.
- Shows a desire to learn instructional design methodologies.
- Receives positive feedback on their ability to teach and mentor others.
