- Consistently delivers projects on time with minimal supervision.
- Proactively identifies and resolves issues before they become critical.
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of the end-to-end IoT data flow.
- Has started to informally guide or assist new team members.

Industrial Automation Engineer / Controls Engineer
5-7 yearsSkills to master
- Deep understanding of PLCs, SCADA, industrial networks (e.g., Profibus, EtherNet/IP), and operational processes. You'd be bringing the 'OT' side of OT/IT convergence.
You're ready to move on when
- Extensive experience working with industrial control systems in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Proven ability to integrate different industrial systems and troubleshoot complex operational issues.
- A strong desire to learn cloud platforms and modern data analytics approaches.
- Can clearly articulate the operational problems IoT could solve.

4-6 yearsSkills to master
- Strong programming skills (Python, Java, C#), experience with cloud services, databases, and data pipelines. You'd be bringing the 'IT' side of OT/IT convergence.
You're ready to move on when
- Solid experience building and deploying software solutions, particularly with cloud components.
- Familiarity with data ingestion, processing, and storage techniques.
- A keen interest in hardware, physical systems, and real-world applications of technology.
- Has dabbled in IoT projects in a personal or professional capacity.
