How you become one varies far more by country than what one does. This is the UK route. Most people take one of these ways in; the right one depends on where you're starting from.

Progression from Fulfillment Associate II (L2)
2-3 years at L2Skills to master
- Consistently exceeding UPH and accuracy targets, cross-training across multiple functions, proactively identifying and reporting issues, and informally assisting new hires.
You're ready to move on when
- You're consistently hitting 110%+ of your UPH target.
- You're the person everyone asks for help when the Team Lead isn't around.
- You've voluntarily cross-trained in at least 3-4 different operational functions (e.g., picking, packing, receiving, shipping).
- You've shown a keen eye for detail, catching errors that others miss.
- You've completed all required PIT licences and operated equipment safely for at least 2 years.

External Hire (Experienced Warehouse Professional)
Immediate (if experience matches)Skills to master
- Demonstrable experience in a similar senior or lead role, strong WMS proficiency (especially SAP EWM or Oracle NetSuite), and a proven track record of training and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
You're ready to move on when
- You've held a 'Senior' or 'Lead' associate title in a previous role for at least 2 years.
- You can articulate specific examples of how you've trained new hires and improved operational processes.
- You're already familiar with most of our core tech stack (WMS, scanners, voice picking).
- You come with valid PIT licences and a strong safety record.
- You can hit the ground running, requiring minimal onboarding beyond site-specific processes.
