6-12 months (internship duration)Skills to master
- Deep understanding of one specific team's workflow, building strong relationships with that team, proving your ability to deliver accurate work under pressure.
You're ready to move on when
- Outstanding performance during your internship.
- Proactive in seeking out additional responsibilities.
- Received an offer for a permanent role.

Back Office / Operations Role
1-3 yearsSkills to master
- Deep understanding of trade lifecycle, settlement processes, data integrity, and operational risk. This gives you a fantastic grounding in how the 'plumbing' of finance works.
You're ready to move on when
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills in your current role.
- Proactively learned about investment concepts in your own time (e.g., CFA Level I).
- Successfully transitioned to more analytical tasks within operations.
