From ISO 45001 Administrator (Internal Progression)

- Mastering day-to-day system administration, managing the CAR system, conducting basic internal audits under supervision, and consistently demonstrating a meticulous, process-minded approach.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully managed the closure of 90%+ of assigned CARs on time.
- Consistently identified and proposed improvements to OHS documentation or processes.
- Received positive feedback on accuracy and attention to detail from managers and auditors.
- Proactively sought opportunities to learn more about ISO 45001 clauses and their application.

From OHS Coordinator / Advisor (External Hire)
5-8 years in a similar OHS role, with ISO 45001 exposureSkills to master
- Proven experience in OHS risk assessment, incident investigation, and a strong understanding of OHS legislation. You'll need to demonstrate direct experience with managing an ISO 45001 system, not just working within one.
You're ready to move on when
- Held responsibility for a significant part of an OHS management system in a previous role.
- Can provide examples of leading incident investigations to root cause.
- Has a recognised ISO 45001 Lead Auditor qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to influence operational teams without direct authority.

From Quality Systems Specialist (with OHS exposure)
6-9 years in Quality, with at least 2-3 years in OHS-specific rolesSkills to master
- Translating strong ISO 9001 (Quality Management) or ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) system knowledge to ISO 45001. You'll need to quickly get up to speed on OHS-specific legislation and risk assessment techniques.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully managed ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 certification audits.
- Completed an ISO 45001 Lead Auditor conversion course or full qualification.
- Can demonstrate an understanding of OHS legal requirements specific to our industry.
- Has a track record of driving continuous improvement within management systems.
