3-5 years in external auditSkills to master
- Robust understanding of audit methodologies, IFRS application across various industries, strong client communication, experience with financial statement tie-outs and footnote disclosures.
You're ready to move on when
- Has led small audit engagements or significant sections of larger audits.
- Can confidently discuss and defend accounting treatments with clients.
- Is looking for a move into industry to gain deeper, hands-on operational accounting experience.
