- You're consistently delivering error-free document processing and metadata entry.
- You've successfully managed document control for at least 2-3 significant projects.
- You're the person junior colleagues come to for advice before escalating to a manager.
- You've identified and proposed at least one process improvement in your current role.

Information Assistant / Records Officer
3-5 yearsSkills to master
- You'd have a strong foundation in records management principles, including retention schedules and archival processes, and a good grasp of information governance basics. You'd be used to strict compliance environments.
You're ready to move on when
- You've successfully managed records for multiple departments or projects.
- You have a solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for record keeping.
- You're comfortable with detailed data entry and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- You've demonstrated a proactive approach to identifying and resolving information-related issues.

4-6 yearsSkills to master
- You'd have experience managing project documentation, coordinating information flow between teams, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards. You'd understand project timelines and dependencies.
You're ready to move on when
- You've successfully managed the documentation for several complex projects.
- You're skilled at organising and tracking project information across various platforms.
- You've consistently ensured project documents are delivered on time and to specification.
- You've demonstrated an ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to achieve project goals.
