- Demonstrating a genuine interest in H&S as a career path.

Administrative Assistant (from another department)
1-2 yearsSkills to master
- Transferring existing administrative skills to the H&S context, learning specific H&S regulations and processes, and adapting to the compliance-driven nature of the role.
You're ready to move on when
- Quickly picking up H&S-specific software and terminology.
- Successfully managing H&S-specific administrative workflows (e.g., incident reporting, training schedules).
- Showing initiative in learning about H&S principles beyond your immediate tasks.
- Being seen as a reliable and knowledgeable H&S administrative resource by the wider team.

2-3 years (depending on apprenticeship length)Skills to master
