- Mastering all standard deal processing, independently resolving routine commission issues, building a solid understanding of CRM data models, and consistently delivering accurate work under pressure. Essentially, you've proven you can do the job reliably.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently processes standard deals with >99% accuracy.
- Can independently troubleshoot and resolve most common sales rep queries without escalation.
- Has taken initiative to improve a small, routine process.
- Is often asked by junior colleagues for advice or guidance.

Sales Support Specialist (from another company)
3-5 yearsSkills to master
- Bringing a strong foundation in sales process support, CRM usage, and basic data analysis. You'd need to quickly learn our specific systems (Salesforce, CPQ) and internal policies, but your core skills would be highly transferable.
You're ready to move on when
- Experience supporting a large sales team in a previous role.
- Strong command of at least one major CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, MS Dynamics).
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Finance Analyst (with Sales Exposure)
4-6 yearsSkills to master
- If you're coming from a finance background with exposure to revenue accounting or commission calculations, you'd need to build a deeper understanding of the front-end sales process, CRM administration, and sales enablement tools. Your analytical rigour would be a huge asset.
