Freight Cost Variance

Compares actual freight costs against planned or budgeted costs for specific shipments or lanes you manage.

If a shipment to Germany was budgeted at £5,000, and it came in at £5,100, that's a 2% variance – good. If it was £6,000 because of an air freight last-minute decision you didn't flag, we'd need to talk about it.

Tracks how well our contracted carriers meet agreed-upon service levels (e.g., tender acceptance, ETA accuracy, damage rates).
