3-5 years at L3Skills to master
- Leading small to medium cross-functional projects, mentoring junior analysts, deep expertise in specific Lean Six Sigma tools, presenting findings to mid-level management, and managing project timelines.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully led 5+ significant Kaizen events or Green Belt projects with measurable ROI.
- Consistently received positive feedback on mentorship and coaching abilities.
- Proactively identified and championed new improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority across multiple teams.

Manufacturing Engineer / Production Manager (with QI focus)
5-8 years in role, with 2-3 years focused on QISkills to master
- Deep operational understanding of a specific product line or facility, practical application of problem-solving methodologies, experience managing production teams, and a strong drive to improve efficiency and quality from the ground up.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully implemented significant process improvements on their production line, reducing defects or increasing throughput.
- Developed a strong understanding of Lean principles and applied them in their daily work.
- Demonstrated leadership in driving operational change and engaging frontline staff.
- Completed a Green Belt or similar QI certification while in their operational role.

Consultant (Operations / Process Improvement)
4-7 years in consultingSkills to master
- Rapid problem diagnosis, structured project management, client relationship management, executive communication, and experience across multiple industries or operational contexts. Often brings a fresh perspective and a wide toolkit.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully delivered multiple operational excellence projects for diverse clients.
- Developed strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in challenging environments.
- Proven ability to quickly understand new operational contexts and identify improvement opportunities.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, honed through client engagements.
