- Consistently exceeding PM compliance targets and first-time fix rates.
- Proactively identifying and solving recurring equipment issues, not just fixing symptoms.
- Regularly providing informal guidance and support to less experienced colleagues.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to enforcing them.

From Maintenance Planner/Scheduler
3-5 years as a planner, plus prior technical experienceSkills to master
- Deepening technical troubleshooting skills, moving from planning to hands-on leadership during critical events, and understanding the 'why' behind the schedules. You'll need to prove you can lead a team through a repair, not just schedule it.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully optimising PM schedules and work order backlogs.
- Demonstrating a strong grasp of equipment criticality and maintenance strategy.
- Effectively coordinating resources during planned shutdowns or major repairs.
- Actively contributing to RCA processes and proposing long-term solutions.

From Junior Reliability Engineer
2-4 years as a junior engineer, plus prior technical experienceSkills to master
- Translating theoretical reliability concepts into practical, hands-on implementation. Building credibility with technicians on the shop floor, and leading small improvement projects from start to finish.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully implementing small-scale reliability improvement projects.
- Demonstrating strong analytical skills in MTBF/MTTR analysis and defect elimination.
- Effectively communicating technical findings to both technicians and management.
- Proactively identifying opportunities for predictive maintenance deployment.
