- Data gathering, basic process mapping, supporting Black Belts on projects, understanding core LSS concepts (Yellow Belt).
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully completed 2-3 smaller support tasks on time and to quality.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills in data collection and basic problem identification.
- Proactively sought out learning opportunities and asked insightful questions.
- Achieved Green Belt certification (often sponsored internally).

Business Analyst (from another department)
2-3 yearsSkills to master
- Strong analytical skills, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, understanding specific business domains. You'd need to gain your Green Belt certification.
You're ready to move on when
- Proven track record of translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in process optimisation and efficiency.
- Completed an external Green Belt certification or committed to achieving one quickly.

Operations Specialist / Manager
3-5 yearsSkills to master
- Deep understanding of specific operational processes, managing teams, problem-solving within an operational context. You'd bring invaluable 'Gemba' knowledge.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully managed operational teams or key processes, demonstrating continuous improvement mindset.
- Identified and resolved significant operational bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
- Strong leadership potential and ability to influence frontline staff.
- Completed an external Green Belt certification or committed to achieving one quickly.
