- Leading 1-2 Green Belt projects independently, strong data analysis skills, basic facilitation, and effective stakeholder communication for project updates.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully completed 3-5 Green Belt projects with documented savings.
- Consistently receives positive feedback on project delivery and analytical rigour.
- Demonstrates initiative in identifying new improvement opportunities.
- Has informally guided junior colleagues or new joiners.

External Hire (from similar industry)
Immediate (with 5-8 years relevant experience)Skills to master
- Proven Black Belt project leadership, strong statistical analysis, advanced facilitation, change management experience, and a track record of delivering significant financial impact.
You're ready to move on when
- Holds a recognised Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Can articulate specific examples of leading complex, cross-functional projects.
- Has experience mentoring junior team members or leading small project teams.
- Demonstrates strong communication and influencing skills in interviews.

Transition from Process Analyst (non-LSS)
3-5 years as an Analyst + LSS Green Belt certificationSkills to master
- Deep understanding of business processes, strong analytical skills, a newly acquired Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and a demonstrated ability to apply methodologies.
You're ready to move on when
- Has moved beyond just documenting processes to actively identifying and proposing improvements.
- Completed a Green Belt certification and successfully applied it to a real business problem.
- Shows a strong desire to lead change and develop consulting skills.
- Has a solid grasp of data analysis tools and techniques.
