Lead audits of customs declarations and make recommendations for process improvements to reduce risk.
Shipment Issue Resolution Identify and report minor shipment delays or discrepancies to your specialist. Follow pre-defined escalation paths for common problems. Do not communicate directly with external parties on major issues. Independently resolve routine shipment issues (e.g., re-booking a missed connection, arranging minor re-delivery). Escalate complex or high-cost issues (e.g., customs inspection, cargo damage) to manager. Act as the primary escalation point for all major shipment issues on your managed lanes. Authorise contingency plans (e.g., air freight conversion) up to £10K. Represent the company in discussions with carriers/customs.
