- You've been the go-to person for H&S questions at your current level.
- You've regularly assisted with or delivered parts of H&S training sessions.
- You're comfortable with H&S record-keeping and basic incident investigation.

Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator / Trainer
2-4 yearsSkills to master
- Instructional design basics, training delivery (any subject), LMS administration, adult learning principles, stakeholder management.
You're ready to move on when
- You've successfully delivered training to diverse groups and received positive feedback.
- You're proficient in using an LMS and basic e-learning authoring tools.
- You've shown an interest in or taken on responsibilities related to safety training.

Experienced Operational Role with Safety Responsibilities
3-5 yearsSkills to master
- Deep understanding of operational processes, hands-on experience with equipment, practical application of safety rules, informal coaching/mentoring.
You're ready to move on when
- You've been a team leader or supervisor with direct responsibility for your team's safety.
- You've conducted 'Toolbox Talks' or informal safety briefings regularly.
- You have a strong desire to transition into a dedicated training role, bringing your practical experience.
