- Demonstrable experience leading complex H&S projects or investigations in previous roles.
- Proven track record of influencing operational behaviour and driving safety improvements.
- Strong understanding of relevant UK H&S legislation and its practical application.
- Ability to quickly integrate into a new team and build credibility.

8-10+ years in an operational leadership role with significant H&S responsibilities.Skills to master
- Deepening H&S specific technical knowledge (e.g., RCA methodologies, ISO 45001), developing H&S programme design skills, and transitioning from operational management to a dedicated H&S advisory role.
You're ready to move on when
- Has consistently championed H&S within their operational role, demonstrating strong safety leadership.
- Possesses a NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and is actively working towards the Diploma.
- Has a natural aptitude for problem-solving and a genuine passion for preventing harm.
- Shows a willingness to learn and apply formal H&S management principles and tools.
