2-3 years as an L2Skills to master
- Consistently high CSAT and FCR, strong root cause analysis, independent handling of moderately complex tickets, early signs of mentorship (e.g., answering questions in Slack).
You're ready to move on when
- You're the person others often ask for help on tricky tickets.
- You've taken initiative to improve a macro or draft a new knowledge base article.
- You consistently meet or exceed all individual performance metrics.
- You've successfully de-escalated a few challenging customer situations on your own.

External Senior Email Support Specialist (from another SaaS company)
Direct entry with 5-8 years relevant experienceSkills to master
- Proven track record of handling complex issues, strong KCS experience, excellent bug reporting, and a history of positive customer feedback.
You're ready to move on when
- You can demonstrate examples of complex problems you've solved from start to finish.
- You've been responsible for mentoring or training junior staff in previous roles.
- You're comfortable presenting findings or advocating for customers to product/engineering teams.
- Your resume clearly highlights process improvements or knowledge contributions.

Tier 2 Technical Support Analyst (from a different support channel)
3-5 years as Tier 2 + 1-2 years focused on emailSkills to master
- Deep technical troubleshooting, adapting communication style to email, understanding email-specific workflows and metrics, strong written communication.

- You've mastered technical problem-solving in a previous role.
- You've actively sought out opportunities to handle email-based support.
- You've demonstrated excellent written communication skills, perhaps through documentation or internal comms.
