You're ready to move on when
- Consistently exceeds performance expectations as an H&S Officer.
- Proactively identifies and resolves H&S issues without constant supervision.
- Successfully led several minor H&S projects or initiatives.
- Has informally mentored new team members or shown leadership potential.

Site Supervisor / Operations Lead (External Hire)
5-7 years in an operational leadership role with significant H&S responsibilitiesSkills to master
- Deep understanding of operational processes and associated risks, strong leadership skills, experience in managing teams, and a proven track record of driving safety performance within their operational remit. Needs to gain formal H&S qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma).
You're ready to move on when
- Demonstrated commitment to safety in previous operational roles (e.g., reduced incident rates in their department).
- Has successfully managed H&S compliance for a team or operational area.
- Possesses a NEBOSH Diploma or is actively working towards it.
- Strong ability to influence and engage frontline workers on safety.

H&S Consultant (External Hire)
5-8 years in H&S consultancy, often for industrial clientsSkills to master
- Broad exposure to various H&S challenges across different organisations, strong auditing and advisory skills, ability to quickly assess and implement solutions. Needs to adapt to an internal, hands-on operational role.
You're ready to move on when
- Experience advising multiple clients on H&S strategy and implementation.
- Strong background in H&S management systems (e.g., ISO 45001).
- Proven ability to deliver practical, actionable H&S solutions.
- Desire to move into a more embedded, long-term operational H&S role.
