- Leading full internal audits, managing complex CAPAs end-to-end, configuring specific modules within the QMS/EHS platform, mentoring junior team members, presenting findings to departmental managers.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully led at least 5-7 internal audits with positive feedback.
- Consistently closed complex CAPAs on time with effective root cause identification.
- Demonstrated ability to configure and troubleshoot parts of the EHS/QMS system.
- Consistently sought out and successfully completed projects beyond your immediate remit.
- Proactively identified and proposed solutions for systemic compliance issues.

Quality or Safety Engineer (External Hire)
8-12 years in roleSkills to master
- Deep technical knowledge of quality/safety principles, experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma), strong problem-solving skills, experience managing quality/safety systems in an operational environment.

- Managed quality or safety systems in a similar industry for several years.
- Led significant process improvement initiatives with measurable results.
- Demonstrated expertise in specific quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC) or safety tools (e.g., JSA, incident investigation).
