3-5 years in a senior or lead role.Skills to master
- Moving from individual contribution and project leadership to full team management, budget oversight, and strategic functional planning. You'd need to have proven your ability to influence without direct authority and successfully manage complex audit programmes.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently leading successful external audits with minimal NCs.
- Demonstrating strong mentorship and informal leadership of junior team members.
- Proposing and implementing significant system improvements that have a measurable impact.
- Taking ownership of complex, cross-functional compliance projects.

From Quality Manager / EHS Manager (in a smaller organisation)
5-7 years in a similar manager role.Skills to master
- Adapting to our specific industry context and scaling your management approach to a larger, potentially more complex organisation. You'd need to quickly get up to speed on our specific certifications and regulatory environment.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully managing a full QMS/EHS system end-to-end in a previous role.
- Proven experience with external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Ability to quickly assimilate new industry-specific compliance requirements.
- Strong track record of team leadership and development.
