5-8 years in project/programme management, with a strong change focusSkills to master
- Deepening expertise in human-centric change methodologies (beyond project delivery). Shifting focus from 'on-time, on-budget' to 'adoption and sustained behaviour change'. Developing specific skills in communications, training, and resistance management.
You're ready to move on when
- Recognised for strong stakeholder management and communication skills in previous project roles.
- Actively sought out opportunities to lead the 'people side' of projects.
- Demonstrated empathy and understanding of human reactions to change.

2-4 years as a Senior ConsultantSkills to master
- Adapting consulting frameworks to an in-house context. Building and leading internal teams (vs. project-based consulting teams). Developing deep organisational knowledge and internal political acumen. Shifting from advisory to direct delivery and accountability.
