  • You'll need at least 5 years of hands-on experience in a technical compliance, security engineering, or DevSecOps role, where you were directly responsible for implementing and auditing controls.
  • Proven experience leading audit responses for major frameworks like SOC 2 or ISO 27001. We're talking about being the primary technical contact, not just a contributor.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python is preferred, but strong PowerShell or Go is also great) for automation and evidence collection. You should be able to write robust scripts from scratch.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security architectures and services in at least one major cloud provider (AWS or Azure is a must, both is a huge bonus). You should know your IAM from your VPCs.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and how to embed security controls within them. You should be able to read and write secure IaC.
  • A solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate security and compliance tooling into them. We're big on 'shifting left', so you'll need to know how to make that happen.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and for clear, concise documentation (or equivalent experience, of course).
