2-4 years in roleSkills to master
- At this level, you'd have mastered managing a portfolio of projects and formally training/certifying Green and Black Belts. You're seen as a key subject matter expert, ready to step up to programme leadership.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully led multiple complex Black Belt projects from end-to-end.
- Formally mentored and certified at least 3-5 Black Belts.
- Demonstrated strong influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
- Consistently delivered significant, measurable project benefits.

Senior Process Improvement Professional (L3) with exceptional leadership
4-6 years in roleSkills to master
- You would have led many cross-functional, high-impact Black Belt projects and begun mentoring Green Belts. To jump to MBB, you'd need to show exceptional leadership potential and a strong grasp of strategic programme management.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently delivered high-impact Black Belt projects.
- Proactively mentored junior team members and showed leadership potential.
- Demonstrated a strategic mindset beyond individual projects.
- Actively sought out opportunities to influence broader operational improvements.
