You're ready to move on when
- Successfully completed 3-5 independent improvement projects with documented savings or efficiency gains.
- Consistently identified root causes and implemented effective CAPAs for recurring issues.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Received positive feedback on mentorship or informal guidance provided to new team members.

5-8 yearsSkills to master
- Deep expertise in a specific quality domain (e.g., supplier quality, product quality, process quality), strong analytical skills, and experience with QMS implementation and auditing.
You're ready to move on when
- Proven track record of designing and implementing quality controls in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality issues.
- Strong command of statistical tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, DOE).
- Ability to adapt quickly to new operational contexts and build credibility with new teams.
