The scoreboard, honestly: the hard targets, how often each one is actually looked at,
and the quiet human signals that never make it onto a dashboard.
Email Campaign Deployment Accuracy
Ensuring all retention emails are built and scheduled correctly, without errors in copy, links, or segmentation.
Target · 99% error-free deploymentsYou'll build an onboarding email series. If all links work, personalisation is correct, and it goes out to the right people at the right time, that's a perfect score. One broken link or wrong segment means we've got an issue.
Data List Pull & Segmentation Accuracy
Correctly pulling customer lists and applying segmentation criteria for campaigns, as requested by the Retention Specialist.
Target · 95% accuracy on all data requestsIf the Retention Specialist asks for 'all customers who haven't logged in for 30 days but have made at least one purchase', you'd pull that list. Getting it right means the campaign hits the right people; getting it wrong means wasted effort and annoyed customers.
Campaign Asset Organisation
Keeping all campaign assets (copy, images, templates) organised and easily accessible in our shared drives.
Target · All assets organised and tagged within 24 hours of completionAfter an email campaign goes live, all the bits and bobs—the copy, the images, the final HTML—need to be saved in the right folder with the right naming convention. It sounds small, but it saves everyone a headache later.
Support Ticket Resolution Time (Internal)
Responding to and resolving internal requests from the Retention Specialist or other Marketing teams for campaign support.
Target · Average 4-hour response time, 24-hour resolution for routine tasksIf the Content Team needs an email template updated, you'll aim to acknowledge their request within 4 hours and get it done within a day, assuming it's a standard change. Urgent things, of course, get prioritised.
Proactive Learning & Initiative
Actively seeking to understand campaign objectives, asking clarifying questions, and suggesting minor improvements to processes.
- You'll ask 'why' we're sending a particular email, not just 'what'. You might suggest a slightly clearer subject line for a test, or point out a potential data issue before it becomes a problem. Your manager will notice you trying to get ahead and learn more than just the basics.
Attention to Detail & Quality of Work
Consistently delivering work that is accurate, well-checked, and meets our brand guidelines and technical requirements.
- Your email builds will rarely have typos or broken links. Your data pulls will match the requested criteria. You'll spot small inconsistencies and flag them. Essentially, your manager won't have to spend ages correcting your work, which is a big win for everyone.
Collaboration & Team Contribution
Working effectively with the immediate retention team and other Marketing colleagues, being reliable and helpful.
- You'll respond promptly to team messages, offer to help when you have capacity, and generally be a good egg to work with. People will feel comfortable asking you for help, and you'll be seen as a reliable pair of hands.
Adaptability to Feedback
Openly receiving feedback on your work and actively applying it to improve future tasks.
- When your manager points out a way to improve an email build or a data query, you'll take it on board and show that you've learned from it next time. It's about showing you can grow and adjust.
