The pathway
How you actually get there, here
How you become one varies far more by country than what one does. This is the UK route. Most people take one of these ways in; the right one depends on where you're starting from.

- Transitioning from general data analysis to the specifics of HR/L&D data, understanding people metrics, and developing strong stakeholder management skills within an HR context. You'll need to learn the 'language' of L&D.
You're ready to move on when
- Can independently lead an analytical project from start to finish.
- Has experience cleaning and joining messy datasets from various sources.
- Can present complex findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Shows a genuine interest in learning about human capital and organisational development.
- 2

- Can demonstrate proficiency in SQL and Power BI/Tableau.
