- Successfully led 5+ significant innovation initiatives from concept to early-stage validation.
- Consistently received positive feedback from business unit leaders on your ability to drive adoption of new practices.
- Proactively identified and addressed systemic blockers to innovation within your scope.
- Demonstrated strong coaching skills with junior team members or project teams.

Innovation Consultant (External Hire)
5-8 years in a dedicated innovation consulting roleSkills to master
- You'd need to translate your consulting experience into an internal context, understanding our specific organisational culture and political landscape. Building internal credibility quickly will be key. You'll also need to be comfortable with the long-term commitment of embedding change, not just advising on it.
You're ready to move on when
- Experience designing and implementing innovation frameworks for multiple corporate clients.
- A strong track record of stakeholder management and influencing at senior levels.
- Demonstrable ability to move from strategic recommendations to practical, hands-on implementation.
- A clear understanding of the difference between external consulting and internal corporate roles.

8-10 years in product management, with a focus on new product developmentSkills to master

While your Lean Startup skills are great, you'd need to develop expertise in broader innovation methodologies and stakeholder engagement across the entire company, not just your product's users.
