You're ready to move on when
- Consistently achieving high payroll accuracy (>99.8%) and on-time processing.
- Proactively identifying and resolving most routine payroll issues without escalation.
- Demonstrating a solid understanding of GTN calculations and local statutory requirements for your assigned countries.
- Receiving positive feedback on your reliability and attention to detail from your manager and peers.

Senior Payroll Coordinator (from a single-country or smaller organisation) to Senior Global Payroll Specialist (L3)
3-5 years as a Senior CoordinatorSkills to master
- Adapting your single-country expertise to a multi-country context, learning to manage diverse ICPs, understanding complex international tax implications (like expatriate payroll), and navigating different regulatory frameworks.
You're ready to move on when
- Proven ability to manage complex payroll scenarios (e.g., year-end, specific benefits) in your previous role.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new payroll systems and regulations quickly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, even if applied to a smaller scope previously.
- A clear desire and aptitude for working in a global, multi-jurisdictional environment.
