- Strong foundational accounting principles, experience with ERP systems, understanding of financial controls, exposure to payment processing and reconciliations.
You're ready to move on when
- A solid grasp of the general ledger and how transactions flow through it.
- Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- A keen eye for detail and a knack for spotting discrepancies in financial data.

4-6 yearsSkills to master
- In-depth knowledge of global payment systems (SWIFT, SEPA, CHAPS), payment investigations, bank messaging formats (MT940), and strong operational risk awareness.

- A deep understanding of payment cut-off times and settlement processes.
