3-5 years as an L3Skills to master
- Mastering complex de-escalation, informal team leadership (mentoring), contributing to knowledge base, identifying process inefficiencies. Basically, being the absolute best at the job you'd be managing.
You're ready to move on when
- Consistently exceeds all individual performance metrics (CSAT, FCR, QA).
- Acts as a go-to person for complex issues and provides informal guidance to peers.
- Proactively identifies and suggests solutions for systemic customer problems.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills and a natural ability to coach others.

Team Lead / Supervisor (External or Internal L4 equivalent)
2-4 years in a Team Lead roleSkills to master
- Formal experience with performance reviews, basic scheduling, incident management, and driving team-level metrics. You've already got a taste of what it means to be responsible for others' performance.
You're ready to move on when
- Proven track record of managing a small team (3-5 people) and achieving team targets.
- Experience with basic workforce management and scheduling tools.
- Ability to handle escalated customer issues and provide effective coaching.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Operations Specialist / Support Analyst
4-6 years in an operations roleSkills to master
- Deep understanding of support metrics, reporting, process optimisation, and cross-functional collaboration. You'd bring a strong analytical lens to the managerial role.
You're ready to move on when
- Expertise in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Demonstrated ability to identify operational inefficiencies and propose solutions.
- Strong project management skills, having led small to medium-sized initiatives.
- Excellent understanding of customer service technology and systems.
