- Server OS administration (Windows/Linux), basic networking, storage management, scripting for automation.
You're ready to move on when
- Strong foundation in server hardware and software.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex OS-level issues.
- Has automated routine tasks using scripting.
- Shows a clear interest in specialising in virtualisation/cloud.

- Cloud platform fundamentals (AWS/Azure), IaaS resource management, basic cloud networking, cloud monitoring.
You're ready to move on when
- Experience supporting cloud-based applications or infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud provider consoles and APIs.
- Understands the shared responsibility model in cloud.
- Eager to expand into hybrid cloud and on-premises virtualisation.
