- Deep understanding of operational processes, practical application of safety regulations, experience in incident response and basic investigations, strong people management skills.

- Championing safety initiatives from an operational perspective.
- Successfully managing operational teams while maintaining excellent safety records.
- Taking ownership of safety improvements within their operational area.
- Seeking out formal safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate).

6-10 years in consulting, seeking in-house roleSkills to master
- Broad exposure to different industries/regulations, strong audit and assessment skills, ability to develop compliance strategies.
You're ready to move on when
- Desire to move from advisory to hands-on implementation and ownership.
- Demonstrable experience leading projects and managing client relationships.
- Strong understanding of operational realities, not just theoretical compliance.
- Ability to integrate into a specific company culture and build internal relationships.
