10-15 years total experience, with 3-5 years in managementSkills to master
- Strong people management skills, experience building and scaling analytical capabilities, and a proven track record of driving business impact through data. You'll need to quickly learn the nuances of internal consulting.
You're ready to move on when
- Successfully managed an analytics team of similar size and scope in a different business unit.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new industry sectors or business contexts quickly.
- Strong references from direct reports and senior stakeholders regarding leadership and impact.
- A clear understanding of how to translate business needs into analytical strategies.
